The Base Control System offers kiteboarders a simple and affordable control bar that is still packed with safety features.
NAISH BASE CONTROL BAR TECH SPECS:
• Thru-the-bar flagging line
• Vario bar end adjustment 18”-20” (45-51cm)
• Back line adjustment under bar floaters
• 24m lines included with bar
What we like:
The Base control bar has the reliable Smart Loop system to keep you safe on the water. This features a push away quick release, single line flagging system and below the bar depower - all of which mean that safety comes first. We also really like the simplified narrow grip - it feels really comfortable in your hands and will stop your forearms getting tired after long sessions.
What we don't like:
No swivel on the front lines on this bar means that you need to learn to loop the kite both ways! This isn't really a big deal - twisted front lines won't have a huge impact on the performance of the kite.
Why you want the Naish Base Control Bar:
Because simple, effective and functional is your style. It just needs to work every time and you're happy. That's the Naish Base bar.

Naish Base Control Kite Bar Review by Pete Hardie:
I like the simplicity in this bar and almost prefer the minimal, narrow grip on the base bar when compared to the pimped out grip on the Universal bar.
If you aren't kiting that much and want to keep it affordable - the base is a great way to go. With it's one size fits all approach you can have it as the only bar in your quiver too - awesome.
REAL Pro Tip:
Don't be intimidated by the adjustable bar - it's actually amazingly easy to use. Try making a small loop in your kite line and using it to pull out the adjusters and you'll find that it only takes a second.
