2013 Slingshot Tyrant WVX

The Tyrant WVX is a high-performance machine with top end construction. This board is also available as the Tyrant EPX with a slightly different construction and mad graphics.

TYRANT WVX SPECS:
• 5’8” x 18 5/16” x 2 1/8”
• 5’11” x 19” x 2 1/2”
• 6’1” x 18 5/16” x 2 1/2”
• WVX Construction (Bamboo Veneer + Fluid X)
• FCS fin boxes / Tri fin setup. WVX comes stock with performance core fins.
• Pre-installed Eva surf pads and straps are included.

What we like:
The WVX bamboo construction adds extra strength AND flex. This turns a good board into a great board. The Tyrant is thin and light with plenty of rocker so you will feel in control when travelling at speed.

What we don’t like:
This board is advertised as a board that you can kite and surf, yet it comes with the front traction pad pre-glued to the deck. No thanks, we like having skin left on our chest.

Why you want the Tyrant:
We all dream of great waves and at some point you are going to get them. Even if its once every few years when you take a kite vacation you are still going to need a board that can cope with steep and deep. That’s when you will be glad to have the Tyrant in your quiver.
