2013 Naish Universal Control System Kite Bar

What we like:
The universal bar has a fully functioning swivel on the front lines which will keep your lines untangled as you loop or roll your way to glory. The great news is that this swivel works well and doesn't seize up over time like some other swivels. We also like that the universal bar comes in just one size and is adjustable from 18 to 20 inches. This means you can use just one bar for your whole quiver if you like.
Another aspect we really like is a dependable safety system. No new crazy tech here (which is a darn good thing): the Naish Smart Loop has been providing reliable quick release mechanics for several years and it works time and again.

What we don't like:
If you are flying your really big kites (17m and 15m) you may wish you had a couple of extra inches on the bar to help with turning speed but this is a very minor aspect. The only other thing to note is that Naish have their knot-to-loop setup on the lines the other way round from most other manufacturers. So if you want to use your universal bar to fly any other 4 line kite (which is will happily do) you will need to switch the pigtails around. Don't worry - it only takes a second.
