2012 NAISH PARK SIZES: 5m / 6m / 7m / 8m / 9m / 10m / 11m / 12m / 14m
2012 UNIVERSAL CONTROL SYSTEM: 20" bar w/ 18" adjustable bar end. 20m Lines. 4m Line extensions come with 10m and larger kites.

The 2012 Naish Park is the second year of this kite design. The kite and bridal look similar to the 2011, but they are totally different beasts.

The key upgrades that they added to the 2012 Naish Park are more direct feeling in the bar, better low end range, no wing tip flair, smoother ride, better relaunch, more stability and massive depower.

The Park will be best suited for the kiteboarder that wants a high performance kite that has a bunch of depower. The 3 strut Naish construction gives the Park a very light weight feel while not sacrificing durability. An advanced beginner can buy this kite and never grow out of it. Intermediate or advanced kiteboarders will never want to ride anything else.

  1. Great all around kite

by Sam Bell on April 4, 2012

It is always a great thing when a company listens to feedback. Naish really tuned the Park this year with a better feel in the bar.

The bar is simple yet very functional. NAISH added a lower swivel point that allows you to juggle the bar very easy if you messed up that trick in flat water or got munched in the waves.

Take this kite out and I am sure you will have a great session!
  2. Stoked on the Park!

by Chris Stellato, REAL Lesson Center on March 24, 2012

The park has a very direct bar feel and is smooth and stable in the sky. Near instant relaunch and was a great kite to have in the surf.

LIke the vented material on the wingtip that allows water to drain during relaunch!
  3. 2012 Naish Park hits the mark

by Kevin on February 20, 2012

Very in impressed with the improvments on this years park. I feel like they have made this kite for all types of kitiers this year.

I was personally not a huge fan of the 2011 Park it had way to light of bar pressure and felt very floppy. It also would like to back stall after turns.

Within just a few minutes of flying the new Park I noticed a much better feel because there was some bar pressure there no more floppy feeling. It still has the fast turning speed that everyone loves and good re luanch.

The Kite felt very stable in the different conditions I had it in. Naish also made some bar improments that I liked. One was the additon of a center line swivel like slingshots that worked pretty well. They also made the cleating of the depower rope much easier on the fly. There were some compliants of the last fews years of it be very difficult at times.

The only thing I didn't like was the kites power out put felt very on and off. Other then that I feel this kite is much better then last year and for everyone. Not just for someone that wants light bar pressure and fast turning.
  4. Really Like the New Park

by Nuzzi on February 16, 2012

The 2012 Naish Park has all the upgrades and improvements that we were looking for from Naish.

This kite is a high performance kite that is really easy to ride. The 3 struts make it have a super nice light weight feel.

The Park 2012 has improved low end and high end performance. I found that the less wing tip flair kept smoother power output as well.

They put this little vent in the wing tip that allows the wing tip to drain and relaunch better. This works killer in the surf for a quick relaunch.

The Universal Bar has really improved with the center lines coming all the way to the top of the depower line. There is a nice swivel that works most of the time too. The main upgrade is they retooled the depower cleat to make the easiest to use below bar depower system on the market.

I found the Park to stall a little at the beginning of the turn and back stall a touch if the kite is in the middle of the wind window and you slack the lines. These were very small negatives in a great performing kite.

The 8m and 10m 2012 Naish Park will be staying in the back of my truck for the season.
