Multi-stringer composite construction makes the board lightweight and lively for the size, while an offset stance and asymmetrical concave bottom positioned to the heel edge makes for efficient upwind progress and low power planning.

Upwind Machine

Conditions:
14 mph and dropping
I was riding around the backside of the slick when it became clear the 'light-wind' was rapidly becoming more of a 'strong puff'. I began to make shorter reaches back upwind to REAL in part to avoid making my possible self-rescue/walk of shame less lengthy. Needless to say I was able to cruise upwind in 13 mph winds on an 11.5 m kite.
